Stupid Temenos question..

What conditions exactly would prevent an alliance from entering a section of temenos? Yesterday my ls was going to do the Enhanced XXXXXX one (western I think?) but it was taken, so I went and grabbed my chip for Centrel Temenos Floor 2, traded it, and was not let in. There was only one other party in region (in the Enhanced XXXXXX one).

The message I received was 'You cannot currently enter this area, try again later'. Well unfortuantly I wasn't expecting this to happen so I tossed the chip to make room to lot coins.... so why wasn't I able to start the Limbus? We ended up redoing the floor for the chip I tossed.

I really fucking hate temenos.

I haven't run into this personally, is it possible that someone had a dialog open for entering western still? (realize it was taken but maybe the dialog being up precluded you from entering the other area).

obv. a total shot in the dark here. I'll let you know if I ever run into it.

I'm not sure I understand your situation correctly, but did anyone in your party zoned in another temenos area? Only time I ever got this message was when I tried to do 2 areas at same time without disbanding party (to share loot).
1st party zoned and engaged mobs
2nd party waited for the BC icon to disapears, but couldnt zone in the other area. We had to wait for them to finish before getting allowed to zone in.
I know we should just have allied once both party are inside, but I was lazy that day and didnt think it would do that.

Only 3 things that I know of which will prevent you from entering a Limbus zone:

1) Zone is taken
2) No cosmo-cleanse
3) Chip has already been used

Sounds like #1 is no, and since you got into another zone afterward I'm guessing #2 is a no so... sounds like the chip had already been used?

I got the chip the previous Sunday, we run on Thursdays and Sundays.

From the replies it sounds like someone had dialouge open, guess I know now to not have any touch anything.
