Vista

I apologize if this has been answered already--I didn't find any solution in my search.

I recently bought a new computer that came loaded with Vista. Today I got FFXI for the PC (previous PC couldn't run FFXI well.) I got everything updated, and created a character. The game will run, but it is extremely choppy--it pauses about every .5 seconds. I am using an Nvidia 8800 GTX card, which the POL representative I talked to said is an unsupported card--is there any known way to fix this issue?

The 8800 has troubles with Vista and FFXI. Guess the combination of all 3 leads to instability.
If you haven't already, update your drivers, possibly even using some beta ones.
