I'm not a big follower of anime, so I haven't heard anything about a series based on the franchise. Where are you watching it?

I believe its made by the animation team that did GunGrave, but I could be wrong.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I also found a little about it on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil_May_Cry_(anime) -- and it seems to be produced by the same people who did Death Note. I've seen a little Death Note, but not any of GunGrave. They're probably similar in style, though.

Now when does the comic book series come out? I think it may be Udon comics, the same crew that worked on those new Street Fighter, Dark Stalkers, and Rival Schools comics. I remember seeing a DMC comics advertisement, but I have yet to actually find out an official release date.

I watched the first Ep, Animation was cool and all, but the fighting was disappointing. Hopefully it gets better.

Cease and Desist, yes, and thats why they released it under a different name. They didnt post it on their website, but on IRC and bittorrent sites it was still given out. They changed the name to [C&D] to be tricky and funny.

As expected it's going slow but I hope it picks up sometime and lady looks better in the anime than DMC3. And ep3 was soo boring and I wonder when they'll show vergil.

Ontopic: are they making a manga too? I thought the rules said that when the manga comes after the anime it's never any good.
