To the Maat's Cap owners.

As the title says, I want to ask a question to Maat caps owners, but also to those who have fought Maat several times.

I currently have defeated Maat on 10 jobs over the 15 required jobs fight (nin, sam, drg, drk, smn left).

I started with my BLM70, for level cap, then I did maat war.
At this time, I tried to trade the testimony to Maat to be teleported to the arena the same way I had been for BLM.
But Maat didn't do anything. I tried to talk, to trade the testy... nothing.
So, i ran to the bcnm, traded the testy, did the fight, won, and did the same with every jobs.

I think that as I'm trying to get a Maat cap, they added the pain to run to every bcnm after the 1st job (the same way they put xp loss after the first job)
Now, a Ls pal told me that he fought Maat on 4jobs, and he always got teleported...

I'm wondering if I did everything right, or did i miss something...
If i did miss something, will i have to do again every fights? ; ;

edit: Is there something special to be done between fights? talk to maat? trade the last used testy to maat? or just chain the fights like i did...

He musnt have beat Maat on the first 3 jobs then. You beat him once, you have to run to the BC fior the rest of the times.

it works like the trial by ---- mini fights (20 capped ones) i think. if you've never won the fight at 20 cap, you can trade the fork to the quest giver to get teleported to the bc. if you have won it, they'll still cough up another fork, but will say fork you when you try to get them to port you down. as for how your friend got ported down, i don't know, but i do know that a nin buddy of mine had to walk several years ago (well before maat's cap was added. he just did the fight for kicks.) when he wanted a remach with maat on nin, having previously beat maat on brd iirc.

I've had to walk for all but my first. Either the dude lost the first 3x or he's just mistaken/full of shit.

Once you finish your last 5 jobs, walk to the BCNMs, and defeat him... after your last fight, it will activate the quest, Beyond the Sun. Go back to Ru'Lude and talk to him & get a cutscene followed by your Maat's Cap. Also it has been always that way (having to walk to Maat after your first fight.)

btw Aurik, 75DRK taru can get ~2250HP which imo is pretty hot. I was messing around on my DRK and got 1945HP at lvl66, with 300 more HP in gear/HP from levels to 75/4 more HP merits to go.
