Odd loading problems, I suspect it's the PSU.

When left on for a certain amount of time (more than 2 hours) my computer sometimes refuses to take in anymore information and even the normal interface gets glitchy. Programs shut down and at it's worst, I have to pull the plug to shut the unit down. It's that bad. I believe it's a cooling problem with my PSU because it gets very warm to the touch and the only thing that keeps the system from corrupting (almost at all) is an external fan I have pointed directly at the back of my computer. I'm sure this has been effective, because it lasts for more than 12 hours with the fan, while under normal circumstances it would usually glitch-up within 4. I'm sure I'm right and a replacement is all I need, but I'd like that confirmed before I buy a new piece of hardwear.
