plot was pretty decent for an action movie. straightforward...action starts like 5 mins into the movie and doesn't stop.

action scenes...i don't need to say any more. giant fucking robots battling?

soundtrack and setting...mood setting is very well done.

characters... optimus, megatron, bumblebee, sam, mikaela...all pretty well developed. a lot of redundant characters spoils it though...

autobots have a battle mode face plate change
personalities were dead on...optimus refuses to harm the humans, willing to sacrifice bumblebee to save the earth(saying bumblebee would have done the same and wanted it that way)
optimus says "freedom is the right of all sentient beings" and "one shall stand, one shall fall"
megatron is wicked sick. not a gun...but he abuses his transformation to the max. him and prime through the building in slow mo...holy fucking shit. Hugo Weaving is spot on for his voice.
starscream is crazy too...the scene where he fights with the jets alternating between jet mode and robot mode...whoa.
part 2 to follow...optimus transmitted a message to any autobot out in the universe to join them in earth. starscream's the sole survivor of the decepticons and is seen escaping into space.
megatron depicted as brutal as hell, overpowering prime very easily. flicking away a human with "disgusting" after falling from a building...hahaha!

lots of humor in this...i literally laughed till my sides ached.
Megan Fox is hot as fuck hell.
Bumblebee changing from old camaro to new camaro is fkn cool.
all the autobots have very human traits.
bumblebee has a wicked sense of humor with the radio.

bad:
not enough air time for decepticons...they were cool as fuck hell. especially the part when frenzy discovered megatron's location and all the decepticons rallied towards him. blackout got more air time than starscream
bonecrusher died like 5 mins after he transformed. you know the clip where he was blading and tackled prime? prime smashed his face(literally) a few seconds after they both fell off the bridge
jazz died 5 mins after he engaged
plot loophole... the world knew when the autobots came. world didn't know when blackout, barricade, bumblebee and scorponok arrived.
plot loophole 2...what? all spark sent to city? what the fuck for?

not enough starscream rebellious nature... all the interaction megatron had with starscream was "you have failed me once again"

The robots look like they have way too many pieces in the trailers. Some of them just look like a mass of metal from a trash heap. You can barely tell what it transforms into. Waiting for the movie so I can get a better look at them Character design seems to be my biggest worry (with Michael Bay being my second ).

I am excited as hell for this movie. They put incredible detail into the effects and it looks fucking amazing. And the action sequences look fucking exciting!! Definitely going at midnight on the 3rd <3<3 and I already have a date :D
