Changes I want made to Pankration

1) The default name is random. Not Pit Monster.

a) I'm sick of seeing Pit Monster. I'm sick of seeing Pit Monster Vs. Pit Monster.

b) This way I can trade my soul plates en masse and remember the name of the one that doesn't suck instead of trading, tossing, trading, tossing.

2) A better matching system. Perhaps, you get in a queue, you see the other available opponents, and you send an invite to one of them. Fights are done in the order you and your opponent confirm a match. (edited to clarify what I was saying)

There is no pre-match prep time, per se. Matches just begin every 3 min, and if the last match ended in 30 sec, then the next one will start in 2.5 min. If the last match ended in a draw, the next match begins immediately.

So let's say that Plankration popularity doesn't die down anytime soon. You'd rather sit there for 30+ minutes trying to get registration through then another 87min for your match instead of getting in first try and having to wait +2 hours? Let's not factor in the registration "trick" since everyone should I either know it by now or will soon. How would you fix the registration problem then? Only other ways I can think of is to either add more cages or just wait for the hype to die down.

Make more names available the list is ridicilously small and not diverse enough, so I can better define what the mob on the plate is (some of the names are outright stupid, especially the German ones).
As an addon, I want "Optimus", "Nemesis" and "Hot" as first name options, and "Rod" as a surname option.

Pankration popularity is only dying down because of the need to spam for an entry. The average person doesn't want to compete for a spot, so they're "leaving until it dies down".

Yesterday, the Pit was relatively unpopulated on my server, and wait times went down as low as 20something minutes. Today, it's back up to spam-for-entry, likely because the people of the rush thought the rush was over and rushed the Pit. Coincidentally, I've cancelled at least half a dozen matches by now because every other fight I get is against some level 8 Pit Monster.

Doubling the queue (84 minutes for A/B/C cages, 177 for Diablo) just encourages these people to crowd the place again and make it even worse for the people who enjoy Pankration.

That's only because 99% of the matches atm are gross mismatches and take about 30s to complete. If you actually see a 3m fight, the next fight begins right after.

The wait is there in case there's a long match that results in a tie where neither monster is defeated within a time limit. Just now I saw one, and the moment the battle ended, another started, no wait at all. It's something of a buffer for match lengths.

Fuck making the queue longer, it should be shorter if anything. But real important change needs to be this:

Require people to show up to their fucking match. Or at least make the enemy weaker or something when theres nobody up there, even if they don't order commands.
