multi-player rpg for wii?

I'm getting my wife a Wii for her birthday and need some sugestions for good co-op games. Preferably an RPG. Something along the lines of Secret of Mana for SNES would be perfect. Thx in advance

Wii's third party selection is horrible, and co-op RPG you wont find on the wii, someone correct me if Im wrong.

Uh, Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube? Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World comes out in November for the Wii too. That's unfortunately all I can think of.

Is there a FF: Crystal chronicle comming out on Wii eventually? First one sucked on gamecube, but I doubt they would repeat the same mistake.

To be fair, the Gamecube one only sucked 'cause of needing GBA's and link cables for every player. The game itself was great fun 4 player. The whole crystal cage thing was annoying too, but not game breaking with any more than 2 people.

That part was the worst, but I thought it was lacking a decent story, and map were getting repetitive. I didnt play it much tho, only 1 night with friends.

The story was awesome, you just had to beat it all to get that. There wasn't really a whole lot driving it before the end besides "Go get myrrh to keep us from breathing poison".

I'm hoping to find a couple of gamecubes because I want to try the GBA player thing with the first Crystal Chronicles and see how that works.

Good luck finding anything along the lines of Secret of Mana in quality.... this is something I've been seeking too. Even the new Mana games haven't been that fun.

I wish they'd release SD3 on the VC.


There's a new FF: CC on the DS that came out semi-recently... It's supposed to be not too bad.

ok, so i got the Wii for my wife and she picked out Wii Fit and Chocobos Dungeon. She absolutlty loves Wii Fit, but everytime she plays Chocobos Dungeon, the system freezes on us about 5 mins in ><. It hasn't frozen on any of the other games though so im guessing its a problem with how the disc was burned.

On a side note, our 55&59 year old parents had a blast playing wii sports with us and are planning on buying 2 more controlers for us so all 4 of us can play at the same time, lol. Any sugestions on good 4 player games for old people? lol thanx in advance.

My Grandparents love playing "Carnival Games", also the pong/air hockey game on WiiPlay was fun once they got got the hang of controlling it.
