    File Check and Graphics Problem

I recently did the POL file check of FFXI and now, with the same exact settings I had before, my resolution is lower and when I move the camera/my character/anything that's in motion the resolution drops even more and textures look like they're vibrating or moving slightly.

I didn't change anything other than doing the file check.

I don't think the update caused this as my graphics were fine after the update, the problem only started after the file check.

    File Check will replace files.
Its a little more than a File Check. Its a File Check and Replace without asking.

I don't see how that would degrade my graphics quality tho.

A lot of my .dat swaps are still what they were too, only some of them were reverted (my moogle is still a magical floating baby chocobo).

You were 'upgraded' by SE Standards.

I think that has to do with a modification of how the rendering works, in support for the active windowed resize, which might be coded into the graphics regardless of if you use SE's windowed mode.. I noticed the same thing you were referring to on my own system.

Whatever it was a system restore to before I did the file check fixed it.

    Never using that function again.
