I broke my chocobo...

For the past three days, every time I check on my baby Chocobo, it is completly full, dispite the fact that I have not fed it. No matter what I do to it, it is always completly full.

I called a GM, and even they had no clue. They sugested checking my files for errors, but I am sure this is a server side issue, otherwise people would be hacking their birds left and right.

Has anyone else had this issue?

PS: I posted this in the advanced forum because it seems to be a glitch. Move it if I was wrong please.

Baby chocobos can only eat paste, and they get full really fast. Giving him a greens or something is going to cap him. "Basic care" will give some food to your chocobo too.

I think you also have to deplete his energy bar for him to be hungry the next day. Try going on a walk and then watching over him until his HP bar is 0, then the next day he should be hungrier if I'm remembering correctly. (If I'm remembering incorrectly, it may have been rather that you have to set it on a more strenuous care plan than Basic Care, like Walk Around Town, I just remember thinking "oh you have to tire it out for it to be hungry" when something similar happened to me.)

Possible. I have only been checking on him to feed him, doing nothing else.

It happens, the same thing happened with my adult chocobo too. Convenient money saving feature. \o/

What Suiram said. Pretty sure the chocobo's hunger is related to how much energy it uses on the previous day. If you're doing nothing but basic care and aren't walking/watching over it to drain its energy, it won't need to take any amount from the food it has stored up.

Just give the little chick some playtime. Take a few walks, get it's energy level down.

What I was saying is that "basic care" + inactivity is going to keep it at "full" status.

Didn't have him on basic care either. He is listening to music. Then again, I guess that's less strenuous...
