Is it a new iPod being setup for the 1st time or are you trying to get an existing iPods library to a computer that the iPod wasn't originally setup on?

with itunes you can only rip songs you bought from the itunes store, with 3rd party itunes programs you can :bagel:

I don't even remember the name of the program, I'm quite sure it was freeware, it basically pulled all my songs off my ipod and archived them based on their id3 tags, now I just keep it all on a separate hd so I don't lose it when I reformat, but itunes is gay though
