    Reward formula calculation

(before i get bitched out, i searched, fuck browsing through 70 pages of threads.)

are items that enhance reward hp+% being checked before or after the added hp from the +3*(MND-45) formula?

was just researching it to see how high i could get reward up too and wasn't sure how to apply the extra +40% hp to the total hp gained from the 350 + 3*(MND-45) formula

for the less complicated question, in regards to beast and monster jackcoat. does the monster only cure weight slow and silence as well as paralyze poison and slow like the beast coat or will i have to make a seperate macro for the two set's of debuffs?
and could i use a shitty food like alpha just to cure a status effect or are their tiers for each debuff that coresponds to the increasing hp gained from the different foods?

    Re: Reward formula calculation

Just a little lv.60 BST so I'm not too knowledgeable about that, but I can compare it to PUP. I know the status debuffing doesn't quite correspond exactly with Puppetmasters' AF boots' 'Enhance "Repair" effect' because that is capable of removing any debuff (aside from Amnesia, I think). However, the type of oil (NQ, +1, +2) has no effect on the debuffs Repair is capable of removing with the enhancement on the boots. If this has any relation to how BST's Reward enhancements work in any way, I doubt the tier of pet food used for Reward would affect which debuffs Reward is capable of removing, just the HP recovered. This is why when exping, I would keep lots of NQ Automaton Oil just for use with Repair for removing things like Sleep/Silence/Paralyze from my Stormwaker.

Enhance Reward equipment boosts are calculated after the MND formula is applied.

Debuffs removed by AF and Relic bodies are mutually exclusive. So for example AF removes paralyze but Relic doesn't; you'll need to carry both pieces around and have a macro for each. Any pet food will work to remove the debuffs, so you can carry a stack of Alpha for that purpose if you want. I tested this stuff first hand (and updated wiki, etc), so I know this for sure.

Bear in mind too that SE said they're thinking of adding new pet food to remove debuffs (which may change how the AF/Relic body work) in the next update, so keep an eye out for that.

I hope they fuck it up like the time they updated pet food and the cheapest stuff would heal to 100% regardless of pet HP. That was fun while it lasted

I would love to see pet food that heals a percentage instead of a set amount. A biscuit that heals 25% instead would be a big boost for those uncapped jugs that have 4-5k hp, 450hp from a zeta barely dents Lars or CC at 75. Even better would be to allow cooks to make Shepherd's Drink, that's 50% right there and would definitely be a nice saving grace in a close NM fight. It's already in the game, it can't be that hard to make a mid 60 level synth for it. It's not stackable, so you are limited in inventory by how much you can carry with you, unless they finally decide to give us some way to stack drinks, which is a pie in the sky dream in and of itself.

    Re: Reward formula calculation

You know I never really payed much attention to reward and what it removes. When I was involved in jug wars I would just hit my reward macro and then throw a bone to my pet. I am not to sure what it removed but I did notice a huge amount of HP being rewarded.

I wish S.E would stack drinks, Why they haven't is beyond me. Also isn't it about time they upped how many biscuits we can carry. An while were on it Id like to have higher stack numbers of jugpets as well. 3 level 75 jobs S.E needs to think up some more ways for me to free up a space or 2 from my inventory.
