Does he cast any types of buffs on himself or does anything that will show in the chat log? I want to know if i can timestamp and go to bed and tell if its popped or not.

You could write a windower script to take a screenshot every minute or something.

When we were going for KV for BG Big Kills I hooked up my PS2 to my VCR and taped it each day while I was at work and reviewed the tape when I got home. I don't think there's a perfect place to stand where you can see every spawn location though, since I missed a day or two out of the week or so I did this.

You probably didn't miss a spawn...KV is a little bitch and seems to have no problem at all spawning 40+ hours into his window
