Drachen Armet, Wyrm Armet, and DRG/mage solo

so i've been wondering about this gear swap, and was wondering if anyone could verify for me.

if i leave on my drachen armet for the spell to land, it will make healing breath proc no doubt <50% hp instead of 33%. now what i'm trying to figure out is can i macro in /spell, /wait 1, /equip wyrm armet and still get the added potency?

any help would be awesome.

Can dock off 1 second on the first wait if using /RDM.
