Swat has expressed interest in my ls, and before moving forward in the application process, we decided to post a background check. Thanks in advance for your posts!

Hasn't done anything shady as far as I know, co-ran a linkshell? Not sure, but in all, he isn't anything to worry about, pretty good player as well.

He isn't a great player. He's not exactly the easiest to get along with, and he enjoys talking down on others to make himself feel more superior. He only has like one or two decently geared jobs iirc, and isn't really worth the hassle that comes along with it. If he was sporting something valuable he might be worth the annoyance. He was pretty well known and avoided on Titan because a vast amount of people disliked him.

I've already seen him on Bismarck under a new name I believe.

Remember him being in particle. He got some stuff ( was a sac too? Don't exactly remember )
He got some stuff and tried to make his own shell after that, powerhouse? And what Muramasa said pretty much, many didn't get along with him. He was not exactly the best player either. He seemed to be an ok guy when I first knew him, after that he turned into a player no one likes.

Where to start

He started his half ass LS based on stolen sky/omega pops from particle. When the linkshell died he pretty much stole all the pops, sold them, joined another linkshell and acted like nothing.

Him and his Butt-buddy Sorvelas (also transferred) decided to rob me after i told his in game girlfriend to fuck off one night. Threw me into massive debt, then went around saying i deserved it because i sold an osode after he kicked me from his Linkshell. http://www.ffxiah.com/player.php?id=1147329&sid=3 is the mule they used to sell the mass part of my equipment, over a third of which was loaned. If you like a cocky, unskilled, loudmouth, thieving, untrustworthy PLD/WAR/BLM/W/e else he applied as, i'd go for it though.

Well, where to start? It would be in the best interest of said linkshell to disregard the past couple posts. Now, I say this taking into careful consideration that your linkshell has a reputation preceding it (I'm not on Bismarck and I know of it) and it is a good one. Swat will undoubtedly bring more than "a couple mediocre jobs" to your advantage and if you give him the chance, I'm sure you will agree. He does have a strong personality, but then again I've never known any reputable linkshell to shy away from someone with outgoing qualities (they will only work to your advantage). Everyone has someone that they feel "wronged" by but this happens when digging up the past of someone in charge of others. This is more a testament to his success as a leader and Muramasa is not one to be judging others. Without going into too much detail, to say Muramasa is not well-liked, is an understatement. Childish behavior to the extreme, but that is neither here nor there. Actually yes, Shalyn HAS participated in nearly all end-game events and you should not speak about what you do not know. NOW, back to Swat. Take him, put him on trial (if that is your procedure) and you will not be disappointed. An exceptional Dark Knight and Black Mage.. but a top-notch tank as Paladin.

Yeah, Vertigos was definitely all endgame. Wiping to Fafnir is definitely a top tier endgame experience. I actually held back quite a bit and kept it rather mild on my comment about Swat. Now, what you said about Swat was EXTREMELY mild.

lol... Whaaaaat? Thank you for illustrating your ignorance for me. She was not in Vertigo, ever. I don't/have never known anyone in Vertigo. Nor have we (her or myself) ever wiped to Fafnir or been in an ls wipe to Fafnir. You probably don't even know who she is and you're grasping at straws making up stories. You sure you know who Swat is? At any rate, please don't make up stories which hold no bearing in reality.

Pretty sure I'm aware who Swat is considering I was in Particle during the same time he was. Would assume you knew that if you know so much about everything else on Titan.

While we spent 5 (long) hours (mostly because of you and your inept friends) in Sacrarium one day, and you chose to display your immaturity rampantly. Making fun of people's mothers (and macros), while is not something that I personally take offense to, gets old if you chose to do it (for hours) in the place of the mission that everyone else is trying to complete. We didn't get to finish that day (thanks! I've never wasted THAT many hours in any game before). Bolded for lulz. Swat's pretty arrogant, iirc he spoke as if he was above everyone else in the linkshell. Now, somehow 'his success as a leader' directed him to Bismarck somehow, too. I'm not sure how long you were on Titan, but I'm willing to bet you weren't around him all that much to think of him that highly.

If that's somehow TL;DR, I think I saw him using a jelly ring on PLD, and yes, Swat and Sorvelas are butt buddies. I don't remember the other hume that transferred with them.. but he was one of the better PLDs I've seen. Avoid Sorvelas and Swat, imo.

Shalyn and Bladez, you both were never in Particle, nor were you two on Titan (though my mental timeline could be a bit off, whatever!) when Swat left Particle to start that silly sky linkshell of his, Powerhouse.

On the other hand, Muramasa was in Particle. I can't say I'm Mura's biggest fan, but if I had to pick between the two, I'd definitely go for Muramasa over Swat! Ditto Sorv.

And yes, EdeasOrphans suckedddddddddddd! Ditto Particle.

Mura you don't know anything about my experience with endgame. First of all, English much? Your entire comment makes very little sense, but what I DID understand was that you think that MY endgame experience shouldn't count for much because it's non-existent? What the hell are YOU doing? I'm in one of the best HNMLS on Asura, don't try give input that's fucking 2 years old. Secondly, I am not Swat's friend, I barely know the guy but I had exp'd and did some missions with him before. I can also attest to that moronic and immature display in Sacrarium with you, brat... Live in a glass house?

On to EO comments, people hated EO because we had a LOT of people and regularly cleared sky gods. We mainly did popped NMs, dynamis, limbus, so no, not much endgame, but we had fun, were friends, and got gear. In fact, a lot of the better players on Titan came from EO, which disbanded when most of our members moved over to WoW. Bladez and I did not and stayed doing limbus with Daijyea's group until we moved to Asura for Remedy. That was a year ago, and EO disbanded that previous December or January I believe. Before that, we were barely doing anything because people were trickling over to WoW. So, the fact that EO still has haters is more of an accomplishment to me than anything. I find it funny that out of all the dramatic faf-campers, people chose to hate on EO. ^_^

Now back to original topic, Ozz is right, any of the better LS's will want and have stronger personalities within it. He does have one, and it's worth at least a trial to see if it suits your group. Don't mind the haters, they're stuck in 2006.
