Linksys router question

I'm at my friend's house and he doesn't know the password for his linksys router so how do we change it or disable the need for a passcode?

Should be a reset button somewhere, probably on the back. Hold it for like 30 seconds and it will revert all settings and password to default. Default login for linksys is admin as the password with the user name blank.
