Am I the only one thinking that the deaths have become more and more irrelevant since the Ledger posting, it's almost as if you are trying to google just to find someone that has died. Everytime John, Dick, and Harry dies, it gets posted followed by "oh my 2008 QQ". Has there been a somewhat impactful death posted in the last 6 months? I just simply cannot recall, although I'm not much to be too perturbed about it either.

Plus, if I wanted to just google people that have died and list every John, Dick, and Harry, I would be listing hundreds and hundreds of fucking people. I don't, because I feel that every person I've posted (I made a post not too long ago with everyone off the top of my head who's died this year; I think it was 12 or so people) was a great person. Someone who I feel has made a profound impact in at least one way on either myself or the world. And I will miss them, whether or not the entire board feels the same way.

So I'll post when my friends uncle dies, my 3rd cousin dies, and when the 3rd cousin of the director of the second Saw movie dies from obesity. My argument isn't that it's not pertinent, it's that it's become less and less so. Seriously, the 80 year old wife of a star trek writer, an old playboy pinup, and an 81 year old singer who had cancer has found it's way into the threads. People are making these threads JUST because it's 2008 and they have a reason to bitch. Those people wouldn't have had threads made for them a year, or maybe even 8 months ago. And fuck you shue, I haven't posted in any of them. I posted in this one because it finally just irked me enough to say something.
