Uninstalling AVG

Well I've been trying to make the transition from AVG to Kapersky, problem is that when I try to run the installer for Kapersky is says that AVG is still installed on my computer. I've uninstalled AVG though, deleted all files associated with it, restarted my computer, etc. but it still says that AVG is installed. I'm a retard when it comes to computers so if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong it'd be appreciated.

Try redownloading AVG, running the executable and see if it gives you an option to reinstall, repair, or remove the install. If it does, it's still in there somewhere, choose remove and that should do the job.
