Case Headphone Jack Clicks

So yeah I'm probably not describing this in the best way but every time the screen refreshes i.e. scrolling up or down, video, gifs, gaming etc etc I hear a click or squeaking noise in my headphones when they're hooked into the case jack. When I plug in directly into the sound card I don't have any problems though so I'm really not sure what's wrong exactly.

Checked that everything's plugged in securely and I have the latest drivers but nothing.

Any help is appreciated.

This noise is caused by the fluctuation in electricty inside your pc, and a weak resistors in your headphone.


The only solution I know is to lower the volume on the headphone directly and increase your PC volume.

Pluging it in a different source might work too (in front of your pc, behind your pc, on your speaker..etc).

There is probably something you could plug between your headphone and the output to remove the static noise, but I've no clue what.
