What's to become of the poor areas? This was a Plan SE decided to screw people with.

Now me? i personaly never cared, it was eye scratching beating on a wall for exp..but what i am saying this does is..

People will stop caring, so areas will lose control much easier...so...

No more witch sash/mantle spam, ANNND this makes ANNMs harder to do..i'm not saying this is the ONLY way to gain control of areas, but it damn near did help..

You realize mobs eventually come when you're beating on the fort no? I had a beastmen controlled campaign 2 days ago and got 2500xp because there were two waves of mobs. OH GOD STOP CARING. Not to mention ANNM people are going to want points for.

I think that while taking areas back will become harder, we won't lose them to beastmen as much anymore (those who would have gone to a beastmen controlled area will rather go to a nation controlled area for more exp).

I'm personally sad I can't afk for free xp anymore, but I always got more xp on PLD/DNC or SAM/DNC while tanking mobs anyway. I will personally still go check out offensive campaigns in dungeons and kill enemies as before, only now I will feel less disappointed if there are no mobs to kill since I can teleport straight there and back and not have to run anymore.

Because i am wondering how big of an impact did they have on who takes over an area. NPCs do attack them, but obviously not every area. i found it odd when i normaly saw 15-20 people beating on a wall, and now barly over 6-7. of course fighting mobs is easier and more fun. but i heard many bitch about it when i just told them the same thing you said in your 1st post which was "why not just fight the mobs??"
