    Wired 360 xbox controller on laptop

    how do i set this up bc i've already tried everything and nothing. plz help, only thing is since im not the most computer savy guy, plz plz dont give me general info bc i will get lost. need specifics and if someone can actually guide me step by step or type it out or whatever the case may be, PLEASEE HELP!!! bought ffxi for laptop to use xbox360 controller and now they are both on the verge of being thrown out the window literally. really need to know how to do this so i can play ffxi on my laptop w/ my wired 360 controller. thx in advance.

    What exactly is the problem? You said you need help setting it up, so I posted two links with enough information. Maybe if you were specific with what you expect maybe someone will want to help.
