    Video capture software

    Was looking around in Google and came up with a few options but, does anyone know/have some good opinions on which software is good/best for taking vids of whats going on in game?

    I know of FRAPS and found ZD Soft.

    Fraps. Get the full version, its not expensive.

    FRAPS. Definitely. Is it worth buying the full version? Yes, very much so.

    I like CamStudio as a free alternative to Camtasia, but here's a short list of free alternatives to fraps: http://www.anewmorning.com/2009/01/0...ives-to-fraps/

    If you end up using CamStudio, there are some guides around the net on improving video quality that apparently make it just as good if not better than paid options like Camtasia. WeGame looks promising as well.

    Debut is pretty nice, and free / easy to download if you have a good system to run it on.

    Yeah, can't go wrong with Fraps if PC, if recording form a console can't go wrong with an HVR Happauge or Dazzle.
