If you think that, and you have been successful at finding it that way, nobody on your server must camp DI.

I've personally seen Ixion up for almost 12 hours on Odin before. I've also camped Ixion for 4 of his 5 hour window before maint, have maint hit and see him up after Maint. It's true that as long as they are popped before servers go down for good, they will be up after maint. If not, wait 20 hours to start looking.

I didnt say he popped right after maintenance either. If you saw it 20 hours after maint ended, there is a reason for it.

I think too little is known about the zones right now to be able to give a direct answer to this they're not even a week old.

No it's not. There's no Dark Ixion or Sandworm in the dats in those zones. So I can tell you 100% sure, no, they can't.
