So, since Mcafee is sucking, it is giving false positives on FFXI. Where can I add things to be ignored? I've looked through, but, am having trouble finding it.

I have Mcafee from att yahoo dsl, I dont think you can ignore it i looked through it. I just did the ctrl alt delete and ended anything with mcafee on it and it let me use POL ( make sure you restore the file first). Except now for some reason Mcafee turns itself back on when you are on POL, and once in-game you randomly DC.
Seems i gotta change AV programs, what are some good ones.
Yeah, I just read off their forums that they have no feature to fix this. Thanks anyways.
"Free" versions of McAfee suck, as with most others. I swear by McAfee Ent., it has that features plus many others.
LS member had a problem with polcore.dll just now, thanks for posting about this. Uninstalled Mcafee and worked like a charm.
this just happened to me, here is the html log of what macafee did (minus the personal stuff about my IP and computer)

It's a false positive, already been confirmed. We just need to wait for Mcafee to release an update to fix the issue.
There is a thread here about it and false positive is in the title. Also the most recent posts in that thread say something about macafee having patched it. So you can see it there for more info.
