The augments they quote, aren't they the currently achieved ones? Someone did post an INT+6 G.Weskit and Acc+6 F.Mantle, I'm sure it's buried deep within the "post your augment" threads and I'm sure I've seen somewhere (and also the reason why Cream Soda is spamming them almost relentlessly)

The system is absolutely terrible. One of the reasons I'll be quitting the game very soon, good job dev team lol.

I still find it funny that it requires THIRD PARTY TOOLS to post those screenshots yet SE still won't acknowledge what's OK and what's not. Hell, each Fanfest they have a video competition.. and how is that accomplished? Third party tool.

It's been how long since the official 'windowed' version of FFXI has come out? Yet they've let it just stagnate.

So its little wonder that they think these new features are "OMG a resounding success!" It's been generally enjoyed by most people, endgame and casual.

Square has basically never excelled at PC development. FF7 was a terrible port, FF8 was even worse, and they cancelled FF9 before it was released, presumably because they were having performance issues with it.

It's a small wonder the game even supports the PC. I expect it's because they didn't want all their eggs in one basket with the PS2 HDD (a wise choice at the time).

Didn't they openly endorse fraps and other screen shot programs for those contests? I mean, you can use external SS programs without having things like Windower and FFXIapps.

K, so even Print Screen is technically a 3rd party program for the sake of argument is what you're saying?

You could then argue that by playing FFXI you're using a 3rd party tool since windows is required for it if you want to go that route.

PoL has a screenshot function, though I forget how to do it cause it's been forever, but it stores the pics in pol for you. The annoying thing is it puts a stupid square-enix all rights reserved yadda yadda caption on the bottom of every pic.
