Steelseries Merc Board help!

Just bought one of these bad boys the other day from newegg. I love the board but it has some quirks they came with it. The biggest issue I'm having right now is the internet hot keys in the top left corner. The software lets you bind a program / application to these three keys yet... when I do so it still loads IE and redirects me to there old website alongside opening say firefox or whatever else I bound to it. Anyone have any experience with this ? Or have any clue to bypass this ? Thanks!

So, just making sure. When you hit the key, it loads IE instead of Firefox? Or is it loading BOTH Firefox and IE?

Or are you saying, they key is normally mapped to a browser bind. And now that you've set it up to bind to something else. Its still opening the browser even though it should not?

It will load the program I bound to it (firefox) and then open IE along with it. It should not be opening IE at all. I updated software, restarted.. tried binding different programs etc.

See if this in IE is checked. (Sometimes if Firefox is selected at the default browser, and IE is still checked. It will sometimes conflict this way).

Checked. Still jacked up. Think it could be the software. Steelseries bought out ideazon the original makers of the zboard type keyboards. Probably hasn't been updated.. which is strange cause the googling I've done yielded no other complaints but my own.
