PC problems

Built a new pc with newegg and it has been giving me problems since day1, it will randomly freeze(mouse wont move, keyboard wont work, screen freezes, makes a loud as hell scratchy static noise on my headphones). I would just ignore it before and turn off my pc and wait a little while before turning it back on since i thought it may be over heating but it seems like that isn't the problem considering my pc runs at 48C most of the time. All i can come up with the problem being is either a shitty power supply or an OS problem but i'm not sure which or how to go about fixing the problem or figuring out which it is.

Triple check all the connections from your power supply to the motherboard. It's completely possible to have a half connection that's making stuff fuck up. I'd also make sure all your drivers are completely updated. It's also worth testing your memory to make sure you didn't get bad sticks (happens pretty frequently, always test sticks when you buy them). These are just first impressions from reading about the loud static and the crashing. I can do more thinking with more input based on the results of these suggestions.

Try re-wiring your audio connections.. if that doesn't fix the screeching, hmm, maybe a bad mobo or a short someplace?

Also I noticed you have a 2x1 DDR3 memory kit in there.. that'll work fine but it'll only run at single-channel speed. You really should have a tri-channel kit (3x1GB or 3x2GB) in there.
