http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2...asel_brags.phpJoe Basel brags on Facebook about date with Scott Brown's daughter
Turns out Joe Basel, the former University of Minnesota-Morris student busted by the FBI with some other right-wing activists while trying to bug U.S. Sen. Mary Ladrieu's office, is a bit of Facebook name-dropper.
Before he changed his privacy settings, Gawker got hold of a back-and-forth on the guy's Facebook page where he bragged about landing a date with one of Scott Brown's daughters. Brown, you recall, is the Republican flavor of the month after he won the Massachusetts U.S. Senate seat once held by the late Teddy Kennedy.
Here's the money shot, thanks to Gawker:
Basel's talking about Brown's younger daughter, Arianna. That's her on the right in the screenshot below.
Brown's older daughter, Ayla, was a contestant on "American Idol's fifth season:

to quote the NY Daily about Scott;
alsoBrown, during his jubilant acceptance speech on Tuesday night, did the right thing and paused to acknowledge his family.
"As always, I rely on Gail's love and support, and that of our two lovely daughters. So I want to thank Ayla and Arianna for their help as well," Brown said, turning to his wife, TV reporter Gail Huff, and their daughters, Ayla, 21 - a one-time "American Idol" finalist - and Arianna, 19.
But then Brown went horribly wrong, at least in the Dad department - adding that his daughters were both "available."
"Just in case anyone who's watching throughout the country, yes they're both available," Brown shouted.
As the crowd started to hoot - and a look of extreme annoyance crossed the face of daughter Arianna, and his wife Gail let out a mortified gasp - the future senator did his best to reel in his comment.
"No, no. No. Only kidding, only kidding. Only kidding, only kidding," he said. "Arianna... Arianna's, definitely not available."
"But Ayla is," he added, eliciting a gasp this time from Ayla.
Concluded Brown: "I can see I'm going to get in trouble when I get home."
Both could probably pass for Cosmo models - just like dad. Back in 1982, when he was a struggling law school student, the future Senator stripped down to the buff for Cosmopolitan magazine's "America's Sexiest Man" contest.Spoiler: show
