DryRoot is an established European Linkshell on Leviathan (1.5 years old), currently inviting European players from other servers to apply.

We started as a small group back in 2008, and have since grown to cover every area that end-game has to offer. Our time is spent equally between Events and HNM in most cases and we have made positive progress in both areas of the game.

More details

We run Einherjar, Dynamis and Limbus twice a week. We also visit Sea occasionally, knock out ZNMs and Fomor NMs infrequently. The odd Kirin, Bv2s, Ouryus, etc etc

Distribution is fair and unbiast thanks to our custom website & weighted point system (which works nothing like a DKP-esque system).

As mentioned above, due to the low'ish man nature of the Linkshell we require applicants to have a decent play time and make the majority of our scheduled events (6:30pm GMT til 10pm GMT) - as well as be active on the game outside of event hours for HNM kills.

Our active hours are 1PM - 2AM GMT, with scheduled events taking place between 6PM-10PM GMT. If you're not available for the majority of our event hours (6-10pm GMT) but you can play early afternoon (such as 11AM-5PM GMT) this could also make your application successful for assisting with afternoon HNM pops.

What we're looking for:

The jobs we're looking for are split into different categories and groups. Please see this thread, on our forums, for details

We expect all applicants to have all appropriate subjobs leveled, HQ gear in AH slots or equivilent Rare/Ex gear, "smart" merits (no WHM with Divine Seal recast please).

We will also consider those not so experienced with end-game, assuming they have the play time, motivation to learn and be the best.

In return we offer fair rewards, an active schedule and successful event track record. Not forgetting the monthly bank split.

How about dryroot members having a problem to a qualified individual. Would someone within DR's LS with personal bias against someone prohibit them from being able to become a member. (sorry i like to ask the hard questions)

Imo I think personal bias and a legitimate reason for not liking a person are different. You can say "Oh well I don't like that person. He sucks." because he obtained an item before you in a previous LS that you really wanted. Or you can have that legitimate reason for "I don't like that person because they aren't very skilled as a player." I've seen this happen before on Leviathan. It's kind of childish. People have gotten cock blocked from shells for stupid grudges from years past.

Most publicity is bad publicity when it comes to joining shells like this. Even if you prove that the guy has no legitimate reason for disliking you, a significant portion of the voters will say no simply because of the controversy surrounding you.

A significant proportion of the voters will vote no simply because there's been little to no improvement in merits since the first application a year ago. Not to mention the amount of drama and trolling in just about every thread they post in.

As Tsuko said, the controvesy, trolling and drama that seems to follow you both around isn't going to do you any favours.

Being cock-clocked from a shell for a stupid grudge is nothing new, and it certainly isn't exclusive to DryRoot. However, not getting into DR because "they aren't a very skilled player" is a very valid reason for being declined. Linkshells have standards to uphold. We are no different.

I actually don't even know who these people are that are trolling. That's really all i gotta say i have no need to defend myself as i've said in threads past i'm not actively seeking for an endgame LS. At least not until the server merge.
