(As a rule, if I guess I always go with the letter which had the least answers. I will actually fucking count it too.)

Every year I attempt to boost my students' final grades by giving them thisrelatively simple exam consisting of 100 True/False questions from only 3chapters of material. For the past 20 years that I have taught Intro Communications101 at this institution I have never once seen someone score below a 65 on thisexam. Ages ago on a calc test, there were questions about rate of change or something. kites above trees at certain angles, etc.

I drew pictures of said tree and kite for that answer, and related pictures for all other questions, and boy did I fail.

Edit: and then for one answer, I wrote an essay about how the guy next to me kept looking at my paper trying to cheat, and boy was he in for a surprise

I told Skirk this once but in College, I needed a GPA booster class. Something where everything was just a scantron test .... bullshit class basically. He recommended Intro to Criminal Justice, so I took it.

Not only did he give us every question the class before the actual test so we knew what was coming, he actually makes shit even easier! These are actual things that have happened in tests in that class:

-The question will state something like "The name for blah blah blah in the Criminal Justice system that describes blah blah blah is:" then state the choices and immediately after say something like "The correct answer is B."

-After reading the question, all the answer choices(A, B, C, & D) are the exact same thing.

-After reading the question, the correct answer is circled for you.

-A student raised his hand and asked what a question meant because the meaning was unclear. The professor read the question out loud and was like "Basically Jimmy, what they're talking about is X. Don't you remember us going over X in class? X basically states Y & Z." Essentially...he just told you the answer if you were smart enough to get it and pay attention

-During the final a student raised their hand and asked "Professor...what's the answer to #76?" The professor stared at him blankly...took the test out of his hand... looked at it...and said "The answer is B." and handed him back the paper.

I got a 100 in that class.

As a professor, I can say the reality is that this never happens, very few professors actually put much effort into the work they give students besides the extremely anal ones.

Most professors realize that tests and homework are pretty much time-wasters and treat them as such, it's more the public that loves exams than educators do.
