Anyone hear any news on the drivers for this?

According to everyone I've spoken to the GTX480 card will not work with FFXI due to a driver issue.

Beta drivers for 257.xx are currently in development to address the issue (along with a host of other issues from what I understand associated with older games) but the most recent release (as of 2 weeks ago) didn't help.

Just wondering if anyone knew more than me.
