Getting my password

I need to find out what my password is, but it's stored inside my PoL, as in I dont have to input it when logging in.

Is there any physical way to find it what it is? I need to change it. But it cant wait until tomorrow when I can contact PoL.

Not really, cracking encryption is pretty difficult and it's not stored in plain text to my knowledge.

If you have a lot of free time, try typing in a new first letter where it shows your password saved. If it doesn't work, try next.

IE, password is ****(dong):

delete first star, try a***. If it doesn't work, try b***. If that doesn't work, log in with the saved one to stop lockout. Try c***, d***. d*** works. Now try *a**, etc. It's moderately fast if you have a short password, not such a great idea if you don't. If you have an idea what it is, that helps a ton too.

I assume you already looked into getting it reset the legitimate way?

It's Sunday and it isn't open until tomorrow. And I dont think your way is possible Thorny, since it doesn't even ask you for it, it's just stored.

Unless it automatically fills it in somewhere where you put it in? I'm not sure, seems i'm just going to have to wait.

If you're worried about someone having your account info, I would suggest contacting a GM and explaining to them and ask that they lock down your account until tomorrow when you can call SE.
