Should I give up an XBOX360 or a Wii

Well with some background I have a 360, Wii, and a PS3.

I have to part with one because my mom wants netflix so I'm either parting with my wii or 360. Which one would be better to part with? Is there anything exclusive coming out for the 360? I'm figuring anything thats coming out for the 360 will be coming out on the PS3.

If you actually play the Wii, better to give up 360, since as you said most games do tend to come out as multiplat for 360/PS3. I haven't played my Wii in forever though so, so I'd have most certainly gone for that.

wii. I almost never use my wii at all. I find myself using my xbox because my friends play on it. Tho I tend to like my ps3 more. in the end its up to you. The wii as a system offers much less, as the number of worthwhile games that come along are so few.

ps3>xbox360>wii

and if she wants HD give up the 360 >.> still it all depends on what you play more!

and I'd say give up on the Wii, personally. I have two games; Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. Brawl. I play neither. I wanna play Galaxy 2, then I will play nothing else again. It collects dust.

Also a hacked Wii can do a lot of fun stuff.

That's some mighty obvious bias you got there. There are tons of original games for the wii, and what system doesn't focus heavily on sequels/nostalgia? Sure the Wii may do it the most of the three current ones, but that doesn't make it a bad system, and there ARE plenty of new and original games, you just have to see past the shovelware. And yes you can go into the whole graphics and wahhle thing, but some games manage to use waggle in a way that can be fun without being tedious, and some minimize its use, or ignore it all together. And nice graphics, while they can certainly be appreciated, mean nothing if the gameplay is shit, so inversely, even if the graphics are last-gen quality, if the game is fun, why give a shit?

This pretty much-ish. Most games on the 360 are also on the ps3, although you actually have to buy the ps3 games, but that doesn't matter if you don't pirate stuff.

Although, without pirating, the wii is just as useless. It has a decent amount of fun games, but I don't think I'd actually pay full price for them.

Personally, I haven't touched my 360 in way over a year now. On the other hand, I've been getting a lot of play out of my wii. lol

But the 360 has the strongest RPG line-up this year. Why would you use that as a point against the 360?

Dance Central, Dance Masters, Kinectimals, Milo and Kate, Joy Ride, Imagine Fashion Party... lots of good stuff.

Oh, and I guess Gears 3, Fable 3, and Halo: Reach.

But really, why not just get a subscription? The streaming quality is iffy at best, at least from my own experience. It doesn't seem like a great deal if you have to give someone a $250 console to use it.

Remember if you give her your 360 a gold subscription will have to continue on that system for netflix to work, where if you use the Wii no such subscription is needed.
