Really, REALLY expected to read "we will be adjusting the exp granted inside abyssea" after they mentioned us using it for exp alliances. Gotta love the effect years of getting a Lombardi Slap from the dev team will do to you.
edit: and it reads like irithram should be available now? and we just didn't find him yet.... please lord let this not be a mysterious POS like AV's weakness.
Does that mean someone found the antlions?
the "omg no one has found iratham yet" message would probably be more interesting if Ovni/Turul hadn't made it blatantly obvious that most NM appearances in abyssea are tied to egregious use of countdowns since patch day.
They don't even know which Abyssea expansion is being released next month. Honestly not inspired by their Iratham comments.
they make Iratham sound like a death threat, like 'hey don't fuck with this guy, just ignore him and spend 10$ on this next update'
"Close" to obtaining Primeval Brew? Didn't at least one person tick over to 2M cruor a few weeks ago? So much crap in this message lol.
From the Abyssean play guide:
Now I know this is complete theory crafting but maybe there is something more to the way they bring up the the primeval brew and then right after they mention Iratham. It reminded me of this paragraph. Obviously we know regular mobs in Abyssea are based on this system but perhaps all the talk about primal brew popping Iratham is correct. Once someone gets "supercharged" that could unlock him for your server. The strength of Abyssean monsters and the frequency with which they appear will vary based upon the party's level and the speed with which similar foes have been dispatched. High-level parties will draw the attention of even more formidable fiends, and slaying foes in short order will see the equally rapid arrival of reinforcements.
Adventurers in Abyssea will face a challenge that is constantly adapting in accordance with their abilities.
Didn't someone mention that Iratham has barriers akin to Soulflayers?
Im glad they finally settled the EXP bit as ultimately being based on luck. There is no sure-fire EXP party, as much as people like to argue against that.
Wonder if primevil brew has anything to do with popping Iratham lol
Doubt it but who knows >.>
Means they forgot to add him into the game.
It'd suck if it's not unlocking him for the whole server. At this point the drops aren't worth him being anything other than a timed respawn. At first I figured that he'd be the final boss that you got a key item off each zone boss but that'd just be cruel and Owleyes is nice but really is it worth that much effort?
