Blue Mage question.

So for switching from TP gear into spell casting gear in a macro, I was wondering if the following could work. I am not very professional when it comes to testing, so I figured to as you guys here.
I have my TP gear equiped, then when casting my blu spells, such as head butt, I do this... example of the type of lines I use are as follows;
/equip body "Magus Jubbah +1"
/equip waist "warwolf belt"
/equip hand "enkidu mittens"
/ma "Head Butt" <t>

I was wondering if headbutt would receive the stats from this gear in time without a /wait..
