Ask me anything. I beat it on Hard already and am doing it on brutal now so if your stuck somewhere I can help you out with some strategy.
Same goes for the achievements as I got most of those as well...

after i beat the game, mission archive says 25/26 mission, what was the 26th?
I've got a question about one of the achievements;Spoiler: show
Psyic ops and opening gambit replays pls
Gambit with a large time window of victory preferred. playing on that slow speed is torture.....
Secret Mission is probably what your missing.
To get it...

I don't think I beat psy ops yet on gold and opening gambit I have and will post a replay of gold for that one. I haven't done much with challenges yet and I find the so-called 'hard' ones to be easy oddly enough yet the easy ones seem a little tricky![]()
no air by far
Spoiler: show
I say fuck air because broodlords are fucking retarded with the AI always trying to kill the little shits they spawn instead of the unit itself.
2-3 immortal, 1 templar for feedback at the start of every fight to waste his mp (and half of the shield) (and storm for the trash) , lot of stalker and zealot. Try to let differents unit tank it to minimize the loss. I tried to end that one early. I took out the small outpost on the right side to get templar, then build a ton of canon right outside the enemy base (before the bridge) to avoid defending 2 chokes point. When I had enough units, I went through the base breaking every canon, and finished all 3 prisons with a few DT.
It goes both way. If you mind control the broodlord, you will have kerrigan on lockdown since she blast the little shit with her one hit kill. If you go air, you need mind control tower for ultralisk/broodlord. If you go ground, psi disruptor is probably the better choice.
I havent done air on Brutal thought, only hard (but I had no issue with it)
i went for taking out air and psi disruptor and won easily
Yeah when I did my brutal run, I did air+mind control towers and tore the mission up. Used the tower AoE 3 times: Once for a little breathing room, once on accident (GOD THAT STUPID BUTTON IS TOO BIG), and a third time just for the hell of it when the mission was 99% done.
I seriously had like 5 pages of mutalisks and 30+ broodlords, was so awesome.
edit: Moved final zeratul mission tips to the big SC2 thread.
Seriously.
When I did it on hard for the achievement (first time), I was saving my use for the last part, but when I got there, I realized I used it already early in the mission accidently (probably killing nothing). I had to reload my game a few times as well after hitting it accidently
So when you get all the achievements you're stuck at 1590/1600 and everything is complete on battle.net and what not; what gives? :\
can you go over 200/200 by spamming mind controls in "all in?"
Never stopped anyone before in original SC so I could see someone doing it.
Yeah thats part of what makes it particularly fun. When you use infestor mind control in multiplayer, other races units count toward your supply which is kind of annoying. (edit: by this, I mean mind controlling a probe or whatever and building up their tech tree, not straight up parasiting a bunch of units)
But in campaign, you are free to get as much as you want if you are using MC towers. In my brutal run, I had like 30+ Brood lords and over 5 pages of mutas in a control group, on top of a fairly large marine medic army at both entrances and a well saturated mineral line.
Tips for the mission Utter Darkness (4th protoss side mission)?
Tried it on hard 3 times and the best I ever did was get 1700/2000 before they destroy everything.
Build a robo bay and mass colossus with some zealots, get void rays when possible. Put up cannons in your base to take out the nydus worms that will spawn - I also cannoned around the library to help support my units. Pick up hybrids with phoenix and just move your army as one around the entrances. You should hit 200/200 fairly quick, just place cannons while keeping a little to rebuild lost units. Oh, drop an extra forge and possibly cybernetics to upgrade weapons/armor.
