Phoenix Server's HomingMissile LS is looking for 2-3 -solid- applicants to fill openings within the LS.

HomingMissile LS is an event LS that focuses on:

Abyssea, Einherjar, Sea, VNMs, Limbus, Salvage, and the occasional Sky/KS99/SHBCNM, ZNM.

Our event times are PST evenings and Saturday afternoon.

We are looking for support jobs at this time: Whm, Brd, Dnc are priority. Rdm, Blm, Sch, Cor are also useful. While these are the jobs I am looking for, we will still take into consideration -exceptional melee-.

Fully merited and geared appropriately is a must, job variety is appreciated. Making 100% of events is not required, but I would like new members who can be consistent when the events they do make.

We have 8 JoL/AV pops we will be working on over the next few weeks, as I'd like to use the new lvl 80 cap to finally down AV, hence one reason I am allowing a few more spots in the LS.

We also have 3 more PW pops planned for August.

0/2 (As mentioned in the LS info). First time we had bad positioning during pop and while we were re-positioning someone outside LS claimed and it lost DoT and depopped -.-. Second one was really our "first" full fight, and got it to last form and ran out of time, but learned a lot.

Probably would have fought a few more times by now and won, but I was deployed to Afghan.

Going to use our last 3 sets in August, one more reason I'd like to fill a couple more spots in LS.

I still find that fight to be the most fun in FFXI thus far. Not that his gear is terribly useful.

Heh... not to mention that was June of '09 or something when there was like, single digit total confirmed kills still by a single LS if I'm not mistaken? I remember being among the randoms that showed up to help with adds after hearing through the grapevine that you guys were all raping birds for buffers the day before... pretty much our whole server was there. Still one of the most epic memories of my time in ffxi. GL w/ recruitment man.

Better than our Yilbegan's from last night which netted us a total of two platinum ingots, one cloth, and 4 dark crystals.

Ha thanx. I should update:

We've received overwhelmingly positive response from this opening in recruitment and I have filled most of the spots I wanted. I would still like a solid Dnc or two however, should any be seeking a new home.

We have several more JoL/AV sets I want to exhaust before the end of August, as well as 3 PW sets we will be working on finishing off towards the end of the month. We'll also be finishing up our clearing out of all the Abyssea quest/zone bosses over the next few weeks, which have been a lot of fun so far.

While we are close to full on membership at the moment, I would still encourage qualified players that are seeking a solid/capable LS to check out the site/apply or send me a PM.
