Error on Reinstallation

I'm currently reinstalling FFXI on my computer, as there were several corrupted files that check files was detecting, but not able to fix, and they were interfering with my gameplay.

However, when installing RoZ, at 73%, I got this error message:

Error 1310.Error writing to file C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM2\13\115.DAT. Verify that you have access to that directory.

I get the options to Abort (which aborts), Retry (which brings up the error again), and Ignore (which I'm afraid to push, as it might mean leaving in a bad error).

I use Windows Vista, but I've properly installed the vista compatible version of Playonline from the Playonline website, and I have reinstalled FFXI before, with no problems.

What causes this, and how do I fix it?

Are you trying to reinstall it off a disc?

i had this problem i took out the disc and gave it a wipe as it had a few slight marks on it put disc back in and it worked fine when i clicked retry
