Good cat repellent?

So my cat is getting back in the habit of pissing on the floor again and wondering if anyone knew a good brand of repellent that actually works. The stuff we have doesn't seem to affect him at all.

i eventually came up with the perfect fix to a similar problem by turning my inside cats into outside cats in a fit of rage.. they are happy as fuck outside too, i prolly should have never stole them from their feral mother and trapped them in my house tbh

If spraying it with a water bottle doesn't work, physical abuse with the water bottle is the next step as mentioned. Better to do them 1 after the other so eventually just spraying it with a water bottle will be enough to deter him. If you would like a 24 hour solution to this issue, after you have done this, just leave some water bottles in his favorite areas so he knows not to go there. Eventually he will learn of his only safe areas.

Seriously, how well are you washing where they are pissing? You really have to do everything to get the smell out and they can smell way better than you do.

I actually don't use any repellant just good old fashion serious cleaning in the spot.

If it's in the carpet: rug doctor that shit.

Thankfully it's not a rug and just a hardwood. So I can mop it up. Going to go over the entire floor thoroughly with tomorrow before I apply the tabasco sauce.

Speaking of the tabasco, about how much of a sauce:water ratio should I try for?
