Andrew W.K did an interview on /mu one night and spoke to all the posters, he's a pretty fucking cool guy. Not like when Fagmau5 posted on the board and spent 90% of the time mocking his fans/the posters.

I've been to a large number of live shows, including seeing AWK toughly a decade ago that I loved, and he's gotten even better. That was overall one of the greatest live music experiences I've ever had.

He played I Get Wet in order start to finish, as well as an encore with 8-9 songs from other albums. He had a backup vocalist who was just a hot chick in a semi-dominatrix outfit dancing around and air punching like a Richard Simmons workout on meth. Four guitarists, but didn't sound muddy. A+++

The Mars Volta are alright but it's hard not to laugh at the random string of "chainsaw repercussions at the twilight musk statue" shit that make up most of their lyrics these days. Their first album was the only one that seemed to have cohesion and method to its madness
