Today DICE, an Electronic Arts studio, announced Battlefield 1. Only in Battlefield 1 will you bring a horse to a tank fight and squad-up with your allies in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. Through ever-changing environments at the dawn of all-out war, no battle is ever the same. Battlefield 1 will launch on October 21st, 2016 Worldwide on Xbox One, Origin for PC and PlayStation 4.

Battlefield 1 takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. Check out the Battalion kickstarter I linked, for real. Its a huge sigh of relief, nostalgia, and pretty much everything my friends and I have wanted in a fps game since... maybe the original modern warfare?

I'll admit this had me more interested than the last handful of BF offerings and Activision's Infinity Warfare so its working. Not to mention its been it'll have been 3 years since BF4 launched so hopefully we don't have a repeat of the server clusterfuck that always coincides with BF launches.
