MMORPG Life beyond FFXI and WoW; Whats Next?

I know that FFXI and WoW still have a long life ahead of them.
Neither of those games will last forever though and I can not
seem to put my finger on the next MMORPG that will dominate in
terms of gameplay and longevity.

I have browsed around but everything looks kind of meh.
Anything hot in the beta stages? I hear PSO and some
about Vanguard, but thats about it. Anyone have anything
juicy about up and coming games?

kinda demanding graphix wise, but ive always liked shooters, played RTCW (return to castle wolfenstein) for a couple months befor i spent the next 2-3 years in FFXI. (now retired)

playing WoW atm but i sure am gunna jump to this one and try it out hope its as good as ive been reading.

actually it's been around for about 10 years or so, but the gameplay is hella fun. It's what I played before I got hooked on ffxi. It's a mix of RTS and FPS in mmo form.

Sounds like SE is thinking of doing a FFXI-2 rather than doing more expansions. SO maybe that'll be good. XD

And I'll probably be done with MMORPGs after FFXI, too demanding, fine while I'm young, but by the time FFXI is done I'll be far too busy. So in other words, Wii.

well i dont know to much about the new PS(O)U
but from the other one i know it was the 1st attempt at console system's at online (<3 dreamcast life was to short) and it was very fun lag was rarly an issue 1-4 players was great also. now back to PSU
