I know they changed something with the Devil mantas in Cape. Anyone knows if they still are fishable there?

I need to make some heca armor.

All the gilsellers on Ragnarok stopped fishing in Teriggan. I tried fishing there for about 1hr and had no luck with mantas.

I used to Fish a lot of Mantas. I could listen to music, talk on the phone, and eff around. Make a little cash on the side, or stockpile for Hecatomb Gear of my own.

Well after the update (the day of the update really...) I got N Abj Body. So after the next Kirin i ran off to terigg to fish...

To my dismay, the second i caught a manta (i dont H@X my fishing, i just knew it was there when i felt it) my rod didnt move cept once for about half a second. maybe 3 seconds later, im getting the "cant hold it much longer..." message. I tapped esc and sat back.

Well fuck

now granted I'm only 7 fishing... so i asked my 100 fisher buddy to try, he's actually there a lot with me anyways. So he does... and he cant get it up either (haha he cant... ok nm). We tried 4-5 more times, same luck.

So... we concluded u need the earrings for fishing from the pirate chart thingy to make u fight harder and longer. We're working on trying soon. When i find out how it goes, I... might post.

was in an exp pt on raptors in kuftal a few days ago. saw the gilsellers fishing for 3-4 hours and I didn't see a single manta.

There is about 1 skin a day showing up on AH on Shiva. All from the same sellers basically. Not sure if they're gilsellers, but could be. It sucks they nerfed this so bad, I was starting to seriously look into HQ Heca and nerfed...

I'm pretty sure they're not, unless they're really smart about it. Before the update there were 10 skins on the AH, *none* of those sold and then it fell to 2-3. Unless they've been listing one a day for the last 2 weeks, they're farming more up somehow.

The RMT on my server speak english and are pretty nice as long as your not an ass to them; I asked them if they were fishing in kuftal/teriggan and they said no because manta spawn time is changed and they dont know it.


Maybe the Manta is now a 12 hour spawn or something?

Yeah, this just started happening on Pandemonium a day or two ago. One day I have to struggle to beat the other crafters to the one odd Angel skin that pops on AH, the next I log in and there's 5 of em up. Hopefully the price will go down to pre-patch numbers soon too

Awesome to hear. I stopped buying every single Skin that hit the AH after they hit 2.1mil and I was 0/20 on HQ feet (2 breaks too) and they jumped to 2.6mil NEXT SALE. Good to hear they'll be falling back soon enough.

I got 5 mantas to pop in 8 hours since the patch

2 skins droped alltogether, this was in kuftul with no TH.
I also saw the RMT fish up quite a few too.

I hadn't realized they changed this for sure until I saw this topic.. but I thought they may have.

Not long after the update, I decided to go fishing for these. I got 3 mantas in about 1 1/2 hours. Then I had to leave to go to a LS event, and came back later that night. This trip, I didn't catch a single manta for nearly 3 hours before I gave up and went to bed. That was all in Kuftal. The next day, I decided to try Cape Terrigan. I fished in Cape for over 2 hours without a single manta. The entire time, I was the only one in the zone, no exp parties or anything, Cape was dead. So I'm sure that no one else was catching them.. I gave up on fishing for these, seems like a waste of time now.
