I need a game.

Can anyone recommend some good games to play while I'm bored during finals week and during christmas break? I'm willing to play anything, even if it requires money really. Uhm, ya online games are preferred obviously.

I don't usually make posts like this but some friends are playing the LotR MMO and they won't send me a fucking beta invite so I don't know how to get on it. And I thought I'd be getting one soon, so now I'm in that "I wanna pwn a game" mode without a game to pwn. Help

Also, I am playing KoL right now and it's weird. It seems like it's just random in every way shape and form but I'm going to throw out a bunch of questions.

Do you have to obtain a certain # of Muscleboundness, Wizardliness, and Sarcasm and stuff like that before you get a skill up in Muscle, Moxie and Mysticality? Also, does your class affect how you react to stuff? For example, I'm a Seal Clubber and I opted to smash the crates I found in the Noob Cave with my club. If I were an Acordian Thief would I have played a song or sumfin?

Also, I got a level up. How high do the levels go and what is this ascending stuff. Give me the juicy details so I can get stronger and kill stuff. I do get to kill stuff right?

This needs to be repeated. If you like 2D Metriod/Castlevania type games, this is awesome. GBA style graphics but incredible fun that plays like if treasure made a Metriodvania style game.

It's made by one guy and its free with english translations floating around everywhere. The author, pixel ok'd a free DS port for homebrews. Another company bought the rights to make an overhauled PSP version with graphical updates.

Your level is based on your main stat. Your main stat is going to be based on what your class is. Seel Clubber and Turtle Tamer is Muscle. Pastamaster and Sauseror is Myst. Disco Bandit and Acordian Thief is Moxie.

Each class has slightly different content but they all have different skills more or less. When you 'beat the game' you can choose to start over as lvl1 with a new class with a skill from your old class if you want.

There are 3 diffrent substats for each stat.
Muscleboundliness, Strengthiness, and something else. All worth the same, just know that it goes into Muscle.
Chutzpah, Sarcasm, and something else for Moxie
Mysticalness, something, something for Mysicism.

You need to gain a certain # of your main stat (melee jobs STR(Mus), Mage INT(Mys), Other(Dex(CHR?(Mox)))).

You do kill stuff. The fighting is a little eh, but the dialogue makes it worthwhile.
