High School Reunions

So how about it? Anyone here gone to theirs (10 year + ones that is)..well, hopefully I am not the oldest poster on these forums at 27, I just received a letter and email as well about my upcoming ten year high school reunion (97) and my first reaction was of shock that I am that old already lol.

I am not sure if I want to go, but then I get that whole "I will always wonder about some people from school if I don't go"; mostly just old friends I lost touch with, my wife was a couple of years behind me, but for the most part, we had the same friends in school, so I would definately not wonder about any old girlfriends (and wife would come with me, so that would definately be a huuuuge no, lol).

I guess my biggest question would be: Anyone go and had fun? Was it just a Epeen (well, RL peen) contest to see who had done the most/best/had the best life kinda thing? I mean..anything good come out of going? lol, soo many reasons that I think about that would tell me to go and find out; but at the same time, I keep thinking it would be dumb, I mean, there is a reason I did not keep in touch with alot of those people, what's to say I would be interested in keeping in touch now?

No. My reunion has come and gone and I chose not to go. The same fuckwads I went to school with are the same fuckwads living under bridges here in Charlotte, smoking crack and collecting welfare all the while reproducing like a concubine of wild rabbits.

Basically if I want to see my old peers all I need to do is to turn on the news or stroll down to the Courthouse on any day of the week. Simple choice for me really.

I just went to a 5 year get together (not a true reunion so to speak), and it was fun. Basically all the people that I hated didn't show up, so that's probably why it was fun, but still.
