it's dattebayo. there a bunch of pricks but they do good fan subbing. if people haven't learned that any news post with the letters yhbt is a sarcastic post yet, they really should download the yhbt video of bleach episode 60 and learn the meaning of being trolled by them.

Groups like Dattebayo are why I stopped fansubbing. It's all about being dicks to the fans and getting drunk off internet "power".

Even if all Naruto and Bleach was removed it wouldn't affect YouTube in the slightest. Major broadcasting companies have forced YouTube to remove videos many times and it's still going strong.

And who are Dattebayo to condemn video-sharing sites as "violating copyrights" and "terms of service" when they willingly laugh in the face of companies that license the anime they sub, ignoring their ownership of said programs.

Naruto and Bleach are big, but they will fade just like Pokemon and DBZ and all the rest. Dattebayo will have to move on like everyone else and find the next big action anime to fill with gay innuendo and spelling errors.

Downloading single torrent takes 1-3hours, takes 5 sec on youtube.

I was hoping it was a joke when I read this for the same reason. Their reasoning barely make sense when you look at the context.

I was hoping that they would have gone on to say something like:

"However, since the demand for this content to be streamed over the internet is so high, we are going to host them on our own servers so that fans can continue to enjoy our work, but at the quality we would like them to be viewed at."

But no, they just want their fan base to suffer and act like zealots instead. Companies like this just don't fucking get it.
