Anyone know how to fix this? I just setup my PS2 again and hooked in my ethernet cord from my modem to my ps2 but i get this weird error. What should I do.

It's probably not getting DHCP info correctly, try a router? Or.. ICS though a computer?

Do you use any kind of hub or router in your network setup? Sounds like you've run out of IP addresses from your ISP; the fact that you're getting a DNS error suggests that your PS2 can access the Internet, but cannot set up certain protocols to allow traffic. I had a similar problem when I was trying to run 3 things off a hub when I only had 2 IP addresses set up by my ISP. The first two to connect would go just fine, but I would get a DNS server (or similar) error on the third device since there was no allocation of IP addresses to set it up.

If you're not on a network, did you replace your high-speed modem when you removed and reconfigured everything?

Not any help but last Tuesday I got the same exact error out of nowhere, I have not been able to log in for the last week. Have had the same 3 PCs and PS2 hooked up to the router since I started playing.
