Endgame Event driven LS?

I've been considering server-hopping to join a shell that is focused more on endgame events type stuff - and not so much on 3 Kings camping. Basically looking for a shell that does a lot of instanced stuff (aht urgan, limbus, dynamis, bv2/ouryu), in addition to sky/sea/etc. There doesn't seem to be a good LS that does this stuff on Asura, so I've been looking at other servers. BtL was a good choice, but they've closed recruitment for a few months.

Looking through the KI server forums at linkshell info, but a lot of that data is outdated. Anyone here have some recommendations of LS to look at?

Small shell on Lakshmi really hurting for members. We plan to focus on Sea/Salvage mainly, with some Einherjar when we have the numbers. Sky every now and then, but not much, we're all sky vets and sick and tired of doing sky.

If we could just get the members we have like... 5justice sets saved up, I want my torque so badly ; ;

I thought 3 kings was endgame? Either way, a good shell will camp kings *and* do other endgame activities. No real reason to exclude something. If you can't participate in it all because you have a life (e.g. you opt to not do kings because they pop at odd times or you can't spend the time), then you don't have to. A good shell will also have enough people to accomplish what they do.

I don't want to camp 3 kings anymore, just over it at this point. I'd rather be in a shell that did more instanced events or general farming/pop NMs. 3 Kings was defined as endgame 3 years ago...the game has changed.

I'm excluding 3 Kings camping because it sucks ass, and there is a better way to spend my 1-3 hours. Sure, I can AFK during camps, but I logged in to play the game...I'd rather be playing.

Our recruitment isn't open at the moment, but I'll throw out that Eminence on Lakshmi does all of the things you've listed plus grand wyrms and Khim/Cerb, and we don't regularly camp kings. To contribute to the thread: On Kujata, I heard that Journeys End is similar to what you were lookin for Draxyl, but I dont know anyone from it and I'm a little too new to the server to know http://journeysend.myftp.org/index.php. Im sure a few people around here know better than I do.

From what I heard from current members (Madherk by way of Pettra, and Calysto), you guys aren't quite active enough on a regular basis w/ some events. My impression was it was more of a social LS, and you tend to do things in small click'ish groups. Occasionally you do bigger things, like Bahamut v2 burn, and you regularly do Salvage. Definitely correct me on this, as I'm sure I've missed stuff...mostly based on impressions with little fact.

Besides, I don't think ol' Draxyl would make it past the vote phase for SML.

Orionsdoor is on Odin. We do Sea (12 JoL kills now I think?). Also done Ouryu's (working on Bv2 we have 4 evokers for this weekend). Salvages we've stopped within the LS and are creating a static with certain members that are more able to be consistant in terms of attendance cause it seemed easier to do this in smaller groups than as a whole linkshell. We do not do wyrm/kings/hnm.

We also have like 9-10 of those in the LS, so it's not like KB drops anything we actually want aside from D.Ring (which most of our tanks arn't wont to camp a 3-8 day spawn NM with a ~10% droprate) <.<

I completely sympathize with not wanting to camp 3 kings anymore when you have done it for over a year. I was thinking about this also because I don't want to leave my current shell, but if they continue what they've been doing (cancelling in-house dynamis/limbus/ksnm99 for 3-kings). When something is scheduled for a certain timeframe it should be done, not just cancelled everytime a window comes up. So many people act like the 3-kings HNM is the only thing to do end-game.

We have a pretty balanced schedule focusing on all things end game. We regularly farm Sea, Sky, do Ouryu/B2 (when ENMs aren't being stingy), kill Jorm/Vrtra (when we are uber bored), do a lot of Salvage (4-5 runs a week), have an affiliated Dynamis LS than runs twice a week, do KS99s when needed, plus we also camp/kill Tiamat/Cerb/Khim regularly . We did do Einherjar at one point but everyone decided it wasn't even worth it until they fixed it so we will be starting this back up again after the Update to give it another shot.

We still also camp the Ground Kings when the mood takes us and it is at a suitable time for the LS that doesn't take away from other events. Like Nara said tho, we have no interest in KB as no one wants/needs any gear from it since nearly every main RDM in the ls has AF2 hat and E legs and M Legs are just lol...

But yeah as Cleo (Zosi) said, we are closed atm on apps to let the new people settle in after the recent intake but definately feel free to keep an eye on our site for apps re-opening^^

Lakshmi itself is actually a pretty tame server. There isn't a huge amount of drama that comes from us. Just the usual shit talking in /say from shells at camps mostly which happens on every server I'm sure, plus the occassional ninja lotting of E bodies. Our RMT population is also pretty low and dumb compared to what I hear about on other servers. Best our RMT seem to do is camp/kill NQ Behe. A RMT group claimed Cerb once and got laughed out of Mount Z.
