Mac Notebook GFX Card

Okay, so in my highschool class Broadcast Journalism we've been having some technical problems with a program called Final Cut Pro. I recently discovered that the program requires a AGP/PCI-E video card as a system requirement. If i remember correctly the onboard VGA in the Mac notebook is a GMA 950. I don't know if this is a AGP or PCI-E or not so i can't tell if that's the problem. Regardless, the teacher wants a new video card to run future things a lot better than currently. He asked me to find a reasonable price for a PCI-E mac notebook GFX card. I looked everywhere, and i can't find a Mac notebook GFX card on sell o.O. Is it possible to buy GFX cards for laptops or not?

Mac laptops don't have upgradeable video cards, nor do the vast majority of PC laptops.

If you're using a Macbook, then it's an Intel chip. Macbook Pros have better cards, currently, GeForce 8600M GTs.

Either way, the video is going to be accessed via AGP/PCI-E (should be the latter on newer laptops). It's not in a slot, but it'd be on the bus either way. So it meets the requirements.
