[Kujata] Providence/Demo LS - Roel/Slide + more

Anyone have any info on these guys? Saw Roel with Bow relic, and knew he couldn't have been from Bahamut. I'm just curious, any drama/things we should know?

I was on Kujata before I transferred to Ramuh. Simply put, Roel IGE'd his Relic bow. Take it as you wish.

Roel got 2 relic if I remember right and I always feel this account wasnt right. I can't tell for sure he bought gil on IGE, what I can tell is that he was accepted in my old ls (The Dreamcatcher) and show only a few time on raid, he seems to be more interested in ballista than any other things.

Slide is great lol, he was one of the first few NA's to achieve 75 back then on Garuda and he's an all around pretty cool dude. We've been in the same social LS for a while whilst taking up our first jobs (War and Monk respectively, he used to be constantly 2-3 levels higher than me though and we both had slightly underlevelled subjobs til' like...late 50's haha) and we've always gotten along just fine, might've been due to his italian origins though! TheMonFia represent' yo!

...unless you were referring to different player coincindentally named "Slide" (the one I knew was a Galka) who was born and raised on Kujata and incidentally ended up joining Demo too, in which case idk.

Besides, if Gov is even remotely involved they're prolly on the verge of taking over your server, watch out!. :P

Roel is a bit of a joke, he refuses to pull (anything) on RNG because it 'wastes arrows', was a really bad bard in a merit pt I was in (exping in full god gear and not much else, couldn't sleep mamools to save his life) to the point where we kicked him. IGE'd his relic bow, is a huge lootwhore, need I say more?

Dunno Slide, he was one of the Garudans that came with Demo, not a native Kujatan.

I'm curious as to who the "more" are though hehe ^^

I was in demo for a bit.

Roel, at times can have a bit of an attitude but more or less if he is in your linkshell he is usually a good amount of help. Rumors about him charging his relic bow, Most of us use to harass him but ofc no one has proof. People called him a gear whore but he doesn't have much left to gear whore anyways lol.

Slide, was alkes on kujata and part of the demo crew who transfered over from garuda. He was a taru on kujata due to his orignal account getting banned I believe. All and all a solid guy good friends with governor who had moved to bahamut already.

On the Demo moving to take over Bahamut, that is lolable they have it too well on Kujata. Governor and Slide actually left demo.

The buyer of the account then went on a gilbuying craze to pick up a Kraken Club and his relic.

Friend of mine actually exped with him after he got his relic and ended up outparsing him on Greater Colibri by a considerable margin. He TPs with a Kraken Club, but he doesn't use any accuracy gear, very shitty player overall. I would not pick him up for anything lol.

I spent 3 years on Kujata.... Had probably 100 interactions with Roel.

I thought Roel was a bought account also...

I never had any major run ins with the guy but I know that I wouldn't want him in my linkshell :\. Not that he is a bad guy but Amature is a good way to put it... He is a great target for the "Gear doesn't make the player" Claim.

The original was pretty obnoxious too, but I am 100% sure the person playing Roel now is not the original owner.

Ya, Roel isn't one of the better ffxi players around, despite having a relic, kraken, etc. As for the rest of the demo people i can't really say much. No idea why they would move from a server with only like 2 HNM ls to one of the most crowded though.

we're not moving. governor moved to bahamut to get his maat's cap. slide followed suit. roel moved because he found out he's not getting a ridill.
